Recommended Against Bringing

Television

Much of the hall has very poor signal. If you do decide to bring your own television, don't forget you'll need a TV license. Also bear in mind that the JCR has various televisions set up for use by its members

Non-Tumble Dryable Clothes

We do have an airing room if there are items you desperately want to bring. However, for convenience, we recommend using the tumble dryers

Cars

A burden, particularly in the first year. There is limited parking which will incur an additional charge. Walking to places such as town is more sociable. Remember, you can't drink and drive either
